Our Symbols and More
Eclectic Academy has a few symbols and details associated with it. Here you can see all of these, and do check back as more will possibly be added.

Eclectic Academy's Insignia
The wooden wreath pentacle was carefully crafted by one of the founders. Oak wood to represent continual and enduring growth, ivy vines to represent overcoming obstacles, the foliage within the gold ring represents growth and learning, and the pentacle to represent overcoming the elements of life while embodying nature.
Academy Logo
The logo was designed by one of the founders. This was the first design of the insignia, until the insignia's official version was formed later. All said about the insignia is the same for the logo, with oak wood originally being an acorn.

Acorn/Oakorn
The acorn (or oakorn in some places) is a symbol of growth, strength, potential, and prosperity.
Oak
The oak tree is a symbol of growth, endurance, connection, and strength. Its powerful limbs can grow in many ways, and no two oaks are ever the same as each other.

Ivy Vine
A symbol of resilience and overcoming obstacles, just as it overcomes even great walls of concrete or brick.
Foliage
A symbol of growth, learning, as well as continual learning.

Pentacle
As a shape, it is a star inside a circle that is often seen in too many movies that call it a "Symbol of Demons". That is actually falsified information. It is originally just a shape. You would not call a ball with a star on it a "Symbol of Demons". The pentacle is actually a very old symbol of unity and balance, sometimes associated with natural elements (fire, air, earth, water, and spirit). Inverted, and it means chaos over order or "matter over mind". A pentagram is actually just a star.
Witchcraft
Witchcraft is not a religion, it is, as the name states, a craft (same category as sewing, knitting, scrapbooking). And no, it is not all evil and dark stuff, that is movies. At best, you can call it the origins of hollistics and homesteading, because that is actually where it started centuries ago. Back when so much as being able to read labeled you as a Witch. And yes, Witches have always never only been categorized as just female. No, Wicca and Wiccans are not another term for Witchcraft and Witches, that is a religion. The hat associated with Witches, was originally worn by executioners of Witches and was associated with many years ago to change its meaning. Just like how spikes found near a steel sarcophagus led to the Iron Maiden being known as a horrific torture device, when in reality those two items were not even closely related or part of each other.
